Shannon R. Reid began as an associate at Mauriello Law in early 2012. After graduating from law school in 2011, Shannon became a licensed member of the North Carolina State Bar and has since enjoyed practicing civil litigation. Her professional affiliations include the:

Through the Young Lawyers Division in Mecklenburg County, Shannon volunteers as a pro bono attorney for various community outreach projects in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. Additionally, Shannon serves as a part-time faculty member at the Charlotte School of Law, where she provides legal research assistance to students, faculty, and local attorneys.
Prior to her admission to the North Carolina State Bar, Shannon went to law school at Florida Coastal School of Law and graduated with Moot Court Honors. During law school, she was selected as a judicial intern for the Seventh Circuit Court of Florida and a summer extern for the St. Johns County Attorney’s Office. During her last semester of law school, she worked as a law clerk in downtown Jacksonville at a private firm that specializes in plaintiffs’ personal-injury cases.
Before law school, Shannon graduated with honors from Appalachian State University. She studied Communication and English, worked part-time at a local law firm, and played Division I field hockey for the Mountaineers. She also spent time volunteering at the Humane Society, American Red Cross, and March of Dimes.
Helping others is Shannon’s central mission. She empathizes with clients who are faced with legal cases that have taken a toll on their lives and the lives of their families. As such, she is dedicated to not only providing her clients with quality legal service, but also earning her clients’ trust and confidence.
